Christmas Greetings

It has been a beautiful Christmas here in Tuscany, quiet and peaceful. The kids just ran out to explore the olive groves after a splendid Christmas lunch and reading the Christmas story together.

This Christmas season, we followed many of our standard family "traditions" while missing out on some others. Of those we skipped, the only one I think we truly missed out on was seeing our family and friends.

This is likely a Christmas season we will never forget, but not just because of the different surroundings and European experiences. It will also be remembered for the kindness of strangers and the more visible needs of those around us.
