Day 103
Merry Christmas! It is hard to believe that it was a year ago that we were in Italy. Time has gone too fast. Christmas morning Jack, Bria, Landon, and I woke up early and started a fire and found on the table a triangular bar of chocolates called Toblerone (Swiss chocolate). It was really good and that meant it did not last long.
We did Mark’s rabbits for him again and when we were leaving from feeding he gave us a cake. We listened to music and about 10am Dad set up the TV for us to watch A Christmas Carol. At first we had a lot of trouble getting it to play. It would pause and then start for a second and then stop. It was really annoying. But then we got it and all was good. After the movie we ate chicken rice soup for lunch and had panettone cake with powered sugar.
We called Grandma Miller and wished her a Merry Christmas and she gave us an update on what was happening in PA. After that phone call we called Grandma and Grandpa Nyveldt and they gave us an update on how everything was going in CT. Then we took a family picture with Dad’s computer and Dad wrote a blog post about our Christmas day. If you look closely you will notice that Jack is wearing shorts.
The weather was high of 60 on Christmas last year in Italy. In the afternoon Jack, Bria, and Landon went out to work on their fort. At dinner time we had a wonderful dinner of………… Then we sat around the fire and sang songs and read more stories before bedtime.
