Day 63

It was a quiet day at home. We were staying near Munich, Germany, in a very nice little apartment. Since this is going to be a very short post I will describe the house for you.

They house was long (deep) and we were staying in the very back of it. Originally I think it would have been a house with attached barn which they renovated into living area. To get up to the second floor, we had to enter the barn and go up a stairs. Upon entering you are in the living room with the dining room area in the far end of it. They had strict rules about taking your shoes off inside. Also they had covers on the sofas that we had to keep on. To your right as you walk in was a single bedroom. We used that room for our coats. Across from the dinning room on the right, is the kitchen. It was a very nice kitchen including a dishwasher this time! They were kind enough to leave some food there for us too. Past the dinning room down the hall to the right was the first bathroom and just 5 feet down from that bath on the right was the second bath and laundry room combo. Straight ahead in the hall was a bedroom that Mom & Dad took. Turning left the hall keeps going about 9 ft. At the end of the hall to your right was our, the girls, room and to your left the boys room. I hope that gave you an idea of what the house we stayed in was like.

We don’t have a picture of the girls room.

We got up late this day, and did everything on a lazy scale. First school, and then played lots of Settlers of Catan, and Monopoly. Because the games were in German we had to use Google to translate to tell us what each card said. Sometime Google was not helpful and other times it was.

Mom and I did go to the grocery store, but other than that we stayed put. That evening we watched an episode of Little House on the Prairie, and got to bed in good time, 8:30 - 9pm.
